The Companions of the Prophet (pbuh) used to prepare for Ramadan six months in advance. So, if we really want to make the best of this Ramadan, then we need to prepare for it now!

Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) reported Allah’s Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) as saying: “The best day on which the sun has risen is Friday; on it Adam was created, on it he was made to enter Paradise, on it he was expelled from it. And the last hour (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) will take place on no day other than Friday.” Sahih Muslim

Every day when we pray… We ask Allah to guide us to the straight path. However, there are some enemies who try to get us away from that straight path.

One of these unseen enemies is Shaitan.

The Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h.) said: “There are seven whom Allah will shade in His Shade on the Day when there is no shade except His Shade.”

The importance of honoring parents is a major theme in Islam. Islam is a religion that stresses the qualities of mercy, tolerance and respect. There are several verses in the Quran where kindness to parents is even coupled with the most important aspect of Islam, worshipping Allah alone.

And certainly, We shall test you with something of fear, hunger, loss of wealth, lives…
