Al- Khaliq Al-Bari’ Al-Musawwir

              The Name of Allah Al- Khaliq الخالق means the One Who brings everything from non-existence to existence. Allah is the one who creates things from nothing with no precedents. He creates what He pleases and in a perfect manner. He is the only one who determines when, how, and what to create and does so from nothing. The word of Al- Khaliq الخالق (The Creator) was mentioned 11 times in the Holy Quran, for example, surah Al-Muminun, Aya 14, ”So blessed is Allah, the best of creators.” (فَتَبَارَكَ اللَّهُ أَحْسَنُ الْخَالِقِينَ). Allah creates from nothingness, while Man is finding way to invent something out of a previous thing. Also, it manifests the ability to change the state of a thing from existence to non-existence, and from one shape to completely different form. As a consequence, the ability to create requires the ability of controlling, planning, and determination, that nothing goes out of the way that way is made. The creation of Allah is a reflection of perfectionism. If the mind is filled with the realization of being submitted to Allah, the Creator, the hear will be filled with fear of Allah.

               The Name of Allah, Al-Bari’ البارئ, The Evolver / The Maker, means the Creator Who has the Power to turn the entities from one state to another. Allah is the one who decreed things to exist out of nothing in a specific manner. He creates something that is totally new or is forwarded from something that was already created; and any result that Allah makes is perfect without any flaws, Allah’s ability to create is unlimited. You may see an ugly creature thinking that this thing is away from perfectionism, but even though, its ugliness was made in a perfect and wise system, remember what Allah says in His Holy Quran, Surah Al-Tin, Aya 4, ”[It is] the work of Allah, who perfected all things.” (صُنْعَ اللَّهِ الَّذِي أَتْقَنَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ). It is very necessary that we behave our minds to accept whatever Allah has created, and have faith in His Ability and Mighty. Also, all the inventions nowadays come from what was previously created.

                   The Name of Allah Al-Musawwir المصور, the Flawless Shaper, means the One Who forms His creatures in different pictures. Allah brings into existence whatever He wills and in whatever manner He wills it. The Shaper is the One who gives forms to different things to distinguish their shape, to the extent that if you look at two different creatures, you can never expect that they were made by the same Shaper, Allah. This Name of Allah was mentioned once in the Holy Quran, in Surah Al-Hashir. Allah makes a system for everything, then he sets the color, form, and structure.

 

so what is the difference between these three name?

Some scholars distinguishes the difference between these three names and say, Al-Khaaliq (the Creator) is the One Who created from nothing all creatures that exist, according to their decreed qualities. And, Al-Baari’ is the One Who made man from al-baraa, i.e., clay. While Al-Musawwir is the One Who creates various forms and shapes. So al-Khaaliq is a general word, al-Baari’ is more specific and al-Musawwir is even more specifi. Contemplating the Names of Allah help you to get more closer to Allah, or how can you love Allah if you don’t know His Names and Qualities?!
